Does Bethanne eat meat as well? What would you suggest is the optimal diet if someone doesn’t like meat at all? In other words, what would YOU eat if meat were suddenly unavailable (except for eggs, yogurts, etc. which to me are byproducts of the animals) Thanks for sharing!

      J,

Bethanne of http://EdibleGoddess.com has added a variety of animal products into her lifestyle. If meat vanished temporarily, then I wouldn’t be happy camper, but I would consume eggs and ghee to survive. 😉

The body usually doesn’t like ‘new.’ It’s a survival instinct. However, we tend to love more and more that which gives us long term health or emotional comfort (and instinct with a double edge). Thus, you may choose to gradually but boldly add in animal products and you may find that your body naturally loves them. Who knows, maybe one day you’ll be eating a grilled steak with your bare hands outside in the sun in a flat footed squat while feeling more nourished than ever 😉
