It’s that time of year when spicy holiday tea can become a daily savored health strategy!

The classic mulling spices that induce nostalgia for holidays past are: cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, allspice, ginger, and citrus zest. These herbs are very similar to a chai spice blend which tends to also have cardamon and black pepper. Other mulling spices include star anise and a variety of fruits (apples, raisins) or fruit ferments (cider, wine, etc.)

Thanks Christian – this looks yummy – perfect for Autumn. Can I drink this at night before I go to bed? Will any of the herbs keep me awake?

    • Laura, thank you! Maca Bliss and Longevity in a Bottle would be the most invigorating and so I wouldn’t suggest RIGHT before bed unless it’s a date night. Otherwise it’s a perfect way to warm up and chill out in the evening. 🙂

Hi Christian – I did drink it right before bed (before I saw your response) but to be honest I can’t remember which 4 herb extracts I picked. It tasted terrific AND I slept 9 -hours….so there ya go!!!
