Rev Up Libido… Balance Mood… Boost Endurance… and Enhance Athletic Performance… Sounds great to you and me!**
These are the benefits of Longevity Power’s newest product: Maca Bliss. This powder – bottled in amber glass – is a 10:1 extract of black maca root that tastes like creamy caramel candy but contains almost no sugars and starches found in the whole maca – just the scientifically proven active constituents of maca root, Peru’s famous superfood.
Most raw or ‘gelatinized’ maca powders are milled whole maca roots. They’re a bit starchy, but they work okay. Maca Bliss is a true extract in which every pound of Maca Bliss is extracted from 10 pounds of whole dry maca. 100% black maca roots are blended in warm water and alcohol to dissolve the water-soluble and alcohol/fat-soluble active constituents. The blend is then strained much like a tea one makes at home (but at a larger scale) to remove the fiber and stach. What’s left is a sweet, creamy blend of the most active consituents.
Ingredients: 100% 10:1 water-alcohol extract of black maca root. Pesticide-free, non-GMO and 100% natural. Serving size: 1 teaspoon (2000 mg)
A word about black maca: In the many animals studies of black, red, and yellow maca, black maca has generally given best results. Black maca has demonstrated to be the best at increasing sperm count and improving latent learning.
Black and very dark pigments are associated with jing in tonic herbalism. Jing is the primal life-force – your rechargable battery pack that determines your state of youth and longevity. My personal experience trying all 3 colors of maca, as well as mixing them, is that black by far gives me the best feeling in my body and I hope you feel the same way to.
Our black maca roots are grown 12,000 feet above sea level in the Peruvian Andes. We carefully harvest, sundry and clean these sacred superfoods and use our low-heat extraction method that concentrates a full spectrum of glucosinolates, macamides, macaenes, flavonoids and amino acids. Unlike most maca ‘extracts’ which are just boiled down maca roots, we truly remove the fibers and starches leaving just the purest water- and lipid-soluble active compounds.
How to use: Maca Bliss is so good, you may just want to put the straight powder on your tongue and let it dissolve it’s sweet flavor in your mouth. You can put Maca Bliss in your favorite smoothie recipe or homemade chocolate or fudge and it will NOT “throw the flavor.” Whole maca has more of a raddish flavor when used in larger amounts, but Maca Bliss tastes sweet and milky when you up the dosage in your recipes.
Enjoy your health!
