Plant lectins are a suite of proteins that cause inflammation. Every body varies in sensitivity to lectins. You can brave a lighter dose of lectins (which for sensitive bodies is still enough to increase leaky gut, cause joint pain and lead to chronic health problems or just prevent them from healing) from nightshades, including potatoes, tomatoes and cayenne, and seeds, including almonds and quinoa. And you can take on a big dose from beans and grains, but the negative effects will still happen whether you notice them or not. Gluten is a type of lectin. Even the most wholesome organic farm to table cuisine can be rich in plant lectin ingredients. Do more research on lectins (there’s a lot out there) and consider an elimination diet abstaining from these for a while, then one by one add some back in and see how you react.

The number one quality I desire to see in all people I meet is that they can be clear and strong minded: consistent equanimity.
This is the gold: To have equanimity of thought and to continue to express supportive and logical beliefs about life and about oneself even amidst stress. Vanilla Mushroom Immunity & Clarity Elixir

Blend on high in any blender for 10 seconds:

3/4 cup spring water

1/3 cup ice cubes

1 teaspoon Longevity Power Mushroom Immunity

1/2 teaspoon organic vanilla extract

1/8 teaspoon, to taste, stevia extract powder (I love NOW Better Stevia)

1/16 teaspoon sea salt

Optional: 1/8-1/4 teaspoon, to taste, Longevity Power Epic Reishi for a ‘dark roast’ flavored kick and an extra strong mental clarity boost.

Pour into a glass and imbibe in the good-for-you-ness!

I love ice cold drinks, but if you love hot drinks just replace the spring water and ice cubes with very warm water. Hot water does not damage the medicinal mushrooms as most of them are hot water extracts. Enjoy!
