Top 3 Mistakes on an Ancestral Diet

Top 3 Mistakes on an Ancestral Diet

Picture this (or maybe you’re living it!): You’ve realized that the modern fake-food big-pharma industrial complex is the most corrupted, backwards way of slowly poisoning yourself ever, so you swap out nearly all the ingredients in your kitchen and do your best to feed yourself and your family the most time-tested, traditional organic fare…

But there are some booby traps that may prevent you from experiencing the full benefits of eating the way nature intended.

Here are the top 3 mistakes I see both newbies and long-term natural health aficionados make living their nutritionally beefed up trad life - so that you can have a much easier and more confident time accelerating your health results every day!

Mistake #1: Not Consuming Enough High Quality Protein, Fat, Carbohydrates, or Sea Salt.

Premade, packaged and overly processed foods tend to have plenty of protein, fats, carbs and salt already loaded in there. So when you’re making your own meals from scratch, you might not realize just how much macronutrients and salt your body truly needs to remain energized, nourished and electrolytically balanced.

So make sure you have about 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight, high quality seed-oil free fats, real carbs like organic fruits, honey and grain-free starches like sweet potatoes and organic white rice, and plenty of microplastic-free sea salt for flavor and hydration. This is pretty general advice, now let’s get more specific.

Mistake #2: Not Eating Enough Organs, Collagen and Nose-To-Tail Nutrition.

The previous mistake was skimping on our macronutrients. But to truly make a sustainable and health-transforming biologically appropriate human diet, we need plenty of the right bioavailable micronutrients in balanced ratios to each other. We can’t do this by only eating lean muscle meat for our animal-based foods – we need nose-to-tail choices like connective-tissue-rich bone broth, animal fats like tallow, and a plentiful variety of organ meats (nature’s multivitamins!), especially from red meat ruminant animals like beef instead of just mono-gastric white meat animals like chicken.

Fortunately, you don’t have to turn your kitchen into a full time butchery to do this. Enter: Longevity Power’s Ancestral Feast and Thrive Beef Liver – the easiest way to fill in nutrient gaps so you can flourish at 100%:

Mistake #3: Constantly Relying on Caffeine and Low Quality Snacks for Energy

Situation A: You consume the most nourishing, grounding, fully energizing meals and elixirs only that give you full-steam-ahead energy all day with boundless physical and mental stamina.

Situation B: Your meals and drinks are lacking, so throughout the day you reach for junk ‘paleo-friendly’ processed snacks and low-quality high-caffeine drinks, never quiet feeling truly turned on and never feeling truly satiated and relaxed either.

Obviously situation A is the goal. I start my day with a tall mason jar of hydrating adaptogen-rich elixir and I have 2 (sometimes 3) large, grounding, high protein, medium fat, medium carb meals with nose-to-tail ingredients. In between meals – instead of constantly snacking - I might have more hydrating adaptogen and sea-salt-infused elixirs infused with powerhouse formulas like this staple:

Never stop nourishing yourself with the best nature has to offer.

Never stop learning (and unlearning former false nutrition notions) how you can eat at your best to heal your body, awaken your mind, and nurture your soul!

Cheers and success wishes to you on your primal wellness journey every day!
